Skye was really my wife's dog, but when Gayle passed away 5yrs ago, me and Skye became inseperable, in fact I think we both had "Seperation Anxiety" so went everywhere together. She loved being at work with me and visiting all the offices each morning for her treats and belly rubs. At home she was always beside me, she knew when I was upset or down and would then give me a cuddle to show me all was going to be well. Skye will leave a massive void in my life and that of the family and friends, she was loved by everyone who knew here. Age catches up with us all in the end, and its no different for our furry friends, my last act of kindness was to stop the pain she was in, which in the later days was getting so much worse for her. Now she is without pain and back with her mum. We moved from Darlington To Somerset recently, and she loved being out in the Countryside, fresh air, sunshine and the birds singing away. Her passing a few days ago was very sad and cut me up as well as the rest of the family, but she went so beautifully, outside in the garden with the sun on her back, a conveyor belt of favourite treats, and gently falling into a relaxed sleep. It really was a beautiful moment and I was so glad we decided to go with "Dignipet", the vet was wonderful and considerate and went out of her way to ensure Skye got the best of her attention.....Thank you all at Dignipet.
