My girl you were the best thing to ever happen to me. We spent so many lovely sunny days in our garden where you loved chasing the birds out. You absolutely loved “snug Sundays” our day snuggled up on the sofa. You loved nothing more than wrapping yourself up in our collection of blankies. You always enjoyed a narnie treat. My sweet girl I will be eternally grateful for our time together and our beautiful memories I can now treasure. Binky free my sweet baby girl mummy will always love you.

Cheddar (Teasals Blue Shadow) - 23/08/11 to 09/06/25 The life that I have, is all that I have And the life I have was yours. The love that I have, of the life that I have, Was yours and yours and yours. A sleep I shall have, a rest I shall have, Yet your death will be but a pause For the peace of my years in the long green grass, Will be your and yours and yours. (ref Leo Marks) The most difficult, challenging, independent yet handsome with enough character to write a book! His favourite thing was to hunt and kill anything he could (and he did lots of it!). He loved to work/train, anything to keep busy and he was great at anything he did (we were his liability). He didn’t care less for us unless there was something in it for him, but we had an understanding that worked. The house will be very quiet without him… Thank you for teaching us so much, our big boy. Walk tall Cheddar, We will remember you with a smile, such a character never walked through our lives by accident, you gave us more that you’ll ever know because you deserve it, bless you, you made us all smile and now you’ve made us all cry. (anon) How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. You will be missed more than you ever will know or care….love you loads big boy. Sleep tight. Thank you for teaching us so much and being you, now we will smile. xxxx

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Flynn, on 23/05/25. He was a rescue dog who found us at age between one and two and he was with us for over thirteen years. He loved walks in the park, running & jumping acrobatically for his ball and chasing squirrels. He loved waiting for the postman to deliver letters. He guarded the house and loved his daily inspections of the garden. He developed various eccentricities over the years, getting excited when we opened or closed the blinds, got cutlery out of the drawers or got ice from the freezer dispenser. We miss those playful barks. His last six months were difficult. He suffered from arthritis and developed cancer. His walks got shorter and slower but he was still happy to go out every morning & evening right up until the day before he passed. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye, but it was his time to go, after a long and happy life. The house feels so quiet and empty without your being here Flynn. We really miss you.

Felix was my Mum's cat and when she sadly passed away in early 2024 we adopted him and bought him home to live with us and our cat Drew. After a few weeks Felix had settled in wonderfully bringing his own unique personality and love into his new home. He was a kind, lovely laid back lad and we only wish he could have spent much longer with us. A year after he arrived after an unwelcome diagnosis and illness we had to make the hardest decision to say goodbye to our brave boy. Felix your friend Drew has noticed your absence and misses you in his own feline way. Thank you for giving us all long and wonderful memories which we will cherish today and always. Sleep well dearest Felix xxxx
